Pride is

top surgery

AIDS activism

the pills on your nightstand

duct tape

being ‘mother’

un-learning pronouns

re-learning pronouns

missing him

loving them

makeup wipes

everything.

Instead of telling the LGBTQ+ community what Pride looks like, we asked them.

Through a mix of community contributions and disposable camera outreach, queer people across the UK and Europe documented Pride as they actually live it.

The result is a crowdsourced portrait of queer life.

Not one image.

Not one story.

Not one moment.

Because Pride is everything.

This project exists because hundreds of people trusted us with their images, stories, families, friendships and lives.

To every contributor, creator, photographer, ally and community member who shared a piece of their world with us: thank you. Your generosity made this project possible.
